Meetings That Should Have Been a Message
A meeting is the right tool when a decision needs real-time back and forth. It's the wrong tool for status updates, which are just information transfer.
The habit worth building is asking, before sending the invite, what decision this meeting needs to produce, and who actually needs to be in the room for it.
Teams that trim meetings aggressively don't communicate less, they just stop pretending that presence in a room is the same thing as progress.
